
In the past few years, the fine relationship between the two countries, and cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam and relevant agencies of Israel have seen fine developments in various important areas. Remarkably, cooperation in security and home affairs between the two countries has witnessed rapid and effective developments, thanks to great efforts of Vietnam’s Ministries of Public Security and Defense, and large companies of Israel.
Meanwhile, visits of high-ranking officials to each other have also contributed positively to promoting the friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnam and Israel. So it can be said that the bilateral relationship between the two countries has been turned into a new chapter of the bilateral relations, meeting all cooperation needs and potentials of the two countries in the new situation.

Deputy Minister hoped that both sides would effectively implement the Cooperation Agreement between the two ministries, promote exchange of delegations at all levels; regularly organize the Vice-Ministerial-Level of Public Security Meeting; and further coordinate and support each other at international forums with the participation of the Public Security forces of the two countries.
Deputy Minister Thanh also suggested promoting cooperation in transfer of technologies, electronic devices, supporting tools and professional vehicles to ensure internal security and public security while coordinating closely to protect representative offices, businesses and citizens of each country in the other country.

The Israeli Ambassador thanked Deputy Minister Thanh for his kind reception and discussion of issues of mutual concerns. He also vowed to do his best to promote the cooperation between the two countries in general and the two Ministries of Public Security in particular, for the benefits of the people and for peace, stability in the region and in the world.
