Expressing his delight when meeting the U.S. Ambassador again, Minister Luong Tam Quang highly valued the recent positive developments in bilateral relations between Vietnam and the U.S. across various areas.
The host underlined that, thanks to the active intermediary role of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, the specialized cooperation and relationship between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and U.S. law enforcement agencies has deepened and produced significant results in exchanging high-level messages, sharing strategic information, preventing and combating crimes and enhancing the capacity of law enforcement forces.

Minister Luong Tam Quang also acknowledged the effective coordination between the Ministry of Public Security and the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi in ensuring the security and safety of diplomatic missions and personnel, as well as protecting high-level delegations from one country visiting the other.
He affirmed that these positive outcomes have become an integral part of the overall bilateral relationship, reflecting the growing depth of cooperation between the two sides.

Sincerely thanking Minister Luong Tam Quang for the meeting, Ambassador Marc Knapper affirmed that the U.S.–Vietnam relationship is on the path to flourish in multiple sectors.
The Ambassador underscored that the U.S will continue to further promote exchanges and enhance security and law enforcement cooperation with Vietnam, considering it as an important foundation to realize the shared goals outlined in the Joint Statement on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations.

Agreeing on the proposals raised by the U.S. side, Minister Luong Tam Quang wished that Ambassador Marc Knapper would make further contributions to boosting specialized cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and U.S. partners in a practical and effective manner, commensurate with the potential of the Vietnam–U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, so as to bring maximum benefits to the two nations.
