Minister Luong Tam Quang visits Russian Federal Security Service
MPS - On the morning of May 11 (local time) in Moscow, Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang had talks with Director of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation Alexander Vasilyevich Bortnikov.
The meeting took place when Minister Luong Tam Quang was a member of the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation accompanying Party General Secretary To Lam to attend the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The talks were held at a time when Vietnam and Russia were commemorating major historical milestones: the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War (1945–2025) in Russia, and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (1975–2025) in Vietnam.

In recent years, the cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Russian Federal Security Service has continued to flourish, significantly contributing to ensuring national security and social order in each country.
Regarding future cooperation orientations, the two sides agreed to further enhance information exchange and experience sharing in the fields of cybersecurity and counterterrorism, while also promoting delegation exchanges at all levels to explore opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

The two sides also committed to ensuring absolute security and safety of visits of one country’s leaders to the other country and further promoting cooperation across other areas of mutual interest.
