Minister Luong Tam Quang visits Vietnam’s diplomatic missions in Australia

MPS - Within the framework of his working trip to Australia to attend the first Vietnam – Australia Ministerial Security Dialogue, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security, visited the Embassy of Vietnam in Australia and the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney.

During the visits, Minister Luong Tam Quang highly appreciated the good work results of the Vietnamese Embassy in Australia and the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney over the past time, and briefed the Vietnamese diplomats and staff on the domestic political, economic and social situation, especially the outstanding results of the Public Security Forces in ensuring security and order.

The Minister hoped that all diplomats and staff members of the Embassy of Vietnam in Australia and the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney will strive to promote cooperation and ties between the two countries in general and between ministries, branches and agencies of the two countries in particular, contributing to strengthening the Vietnam – Australia comprehensive strategic partnership in the coming time.

Sincerely thanking Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security for the visit, Ambassador of Vietnam to Australia Pham Hung Tam informed the delegation of the Vietnamese community in Australia, the current socio-political situation in Australia as well as the prospects for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries in the coming time.
