MPS inaugurates hi-tech crime lab funded by Chinese MPS
MPS - Under the authorization of the Ministers of Public Security of Vietnam and China, the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam and Liaison Office of the Chinese Police in Vietnam on September 14 inaugurated a professional laboratory, a project that has been funded by the MPS of China.

Major General Vu Ngoc Lan, Vice Director of the Department of Foreign Relations, thanked the MPS of China for their support, saying that, in implementing the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in crime prevention and combat between the two ministries, the MPS of China had offered the Vietnamese side a system that helps collect and restore electronic data based in Ho Chi Minh City.
After 2 years of close coordination of professional units under the two ministries and with the support from Li Ya Company (China), the project to install the lab with modern equipment and devices has finally completed, facilitating the prevention and fight against hi-tech crimes.
