Savannakhet Provincial Police Department of Laos visits Quang Binh Provincial Police Department

MPS - On the occasion of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year 2025, a delegation from the Savannakhet Provincial Police Department of Laos visited the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department to extend Tet regards to their Vietnamese counterparts, on January 21, 2025.

At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Savannakhet Provincial Police Department Colonel Sangthong Sipaset extended his warm Tet regards to all police officers and enlistees of the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department, wishing them much joy, happiness and success at work in the Lunar New Year.

The Deputy Director of the Savannakhet Provincial Police Department also expressed gratitude to the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department for its assistance to the Lao police in recent times, particularly the Vietnamese police’s support in providing professional expertise for Lao police officers, funding for the construction of police stations in the Lao border localities, and joining the Lao police’s efforts in preventing and combating crimes along the shared borderline.

On behalf of the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department’s leadership, Deputy Director of the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Le Van Hoa sincerely thanked the leadership of the Savannakhet Provincial Police Department for their Tet visit and Tet regards to the Quang Binh Provincial Police Force.

The Quang Binh Provincial Police Department’s Deputy Director hoped that the police forces of the two provinces will continue to strengthen bilateral cooperation, enhance the effectiveness of their collaboration and further develop the longstanding tradition of friendship and solidarity between the two countries.

At the meeting, two head delegates exchanged information about the situations of politics, economy, culture, and national defense and security in each country and each province, discussed several matters related to the work of ensuring security and order along the shared borderline as well as reviewed the implementation of the Memorandums of Understanding signed by two Ministries of Public Security and the two police departments.
