At the conference, the two sides briefed each other on the situations related to security and order in each country. Over the past time, the two provincial police departments have grasped the security and order situation, analyzed and struggled against plots and activities of hostile forces, drastically fight crimes, particularly drug-related crimes, as well as coordinated in resolving security and order issues in border areas.
Both sides also promoted information and law dissemination and mobilized people living in the border areas to follow the laws and regulations on management of border.
Participants of the conference also pointed out and discussed all outcomes and shortcomings in the implementation of the cooperation plan, and signed a MoU on security and order cooperation in the 2018-2019 period, with 7 main contents and measures.
