According to reports at the meeting, the Department of Technical Services seriously and effectively implemented the resolutions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the directives of the Minister of Public Security on protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and building the Public Security Forces, last year.

Notably, the department took synchronous professional measures to prevent and combat plots and activities by hostile forces and criminals, ensuring absolute security and safety for major political, cultural, and social events in the country.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung hailed the outstanding achievements of the Department of Technical Services over the past time.
The Deputy Minister requested that the Department of Technical Services continue to be one of the leading units of the Ministry of Public Security in implementing digital transformation, creating innovations and scientific and technological breakthroughs, underlining that the department should effectively carry out ongoing projects and complete them as scheduled.

Deputy Minister Pham The Tung urged the department to give advice on the building of the legal framework governing the operations of the Public Security Technical Services Force, while closely coordinating with public security units and agencies to ensure absolute security and safety for the Party congresses at all local levels in the buildup to the 14th National Party Congress as well as other major political events in 2025.
Finally, the Deputy Minister required the Department of Technical Services to pay due attention to realizing the Resolution on the Development Strategy of the Technical Services Force in 2025 with a vision to 2045, contributing to finishing the modernization of the Technical Services Force by the end of 2025.
