The meeting saw the presence of former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former Standing Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat and former Minister of Public Security General Le Hong Anh; Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang; Member of the Politburo and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen; Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chief of Office of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc, along with other senior officials from central ministries, branches, and agencies.

Speaking at the meeting, General Secretary To Lam extended his best regards to the participating delegates, who are retired senior public security officers, former leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).or the spouses of the late leaders of MPS and Security Office of the Central Bureau for South Vietnam.
The General Secretary underlined that the Public Security Forces in general and former senior public security officers have made significant and commendable contributions to the country's overall achievements over the past time.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary To Lam appreciated and hailed the contributions made by generations of public security leaders and officers over the years and wished that they, with their enthusiasm and high sense of responsibility, will continue to contribute to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party, the State, and the People.

As the country is entering into an era of prosperity, development and happiness, General Secretary To Lam requested that the entire Public Security Forces continue to take the lead in implementing the Party’s guidelines and policies, stressing that former high-ranking public security officers should set shining examples in their communities, and join the entire Party, the people and the armed forces to strengthen solidarity, seize every opportunity and advantage and mobilize maximum resources to build, develop, and safeguard the Fatherland.
