In 2024, the Bac Lieu Provincial Police Department effectively implemented directions of the Public Security Party Central Committee and MPS leaders as well as actively advised the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee on approaches to ensure security and order in the province.

The local police thoroughly grasped the local security and order situation and ensured absolute security and safety for key infrastructure in the province, national- and local- level major events as well as for visits of Party and State leaders and international delegations to Bac Lieu.
Addressing the working session, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam applauded the excellent achievements of the Bac Lieu Provincial Police Department in 2024.
The Deputy Minister requested that the Bac Lieu Provincial Police Department continue to actively advise the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee on measures to ensure security and order, protect security and safety for Party Congresses at all local levels in the buildup to the 14th National Party Congress.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam stressed that the Bac Lieu police should ensure economic security and cybersecurity, accelerate the digital transformation process, invest more in modern equipment and facilities, and pay due attention to building the grassroots-level police force.
The Deputy Minister also asked the Bac Lieu police to effectively launch a campaign to suppress all types of crime to ensure local security and order before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025.
Finally, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam requested the Bac Lieu Provincial Police Department continue to enhance the work of political and ideological education among its police officers and enlistees, in line with Resolution No. 12 by the Politburo, contributing to building a truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Bac Lieu police force to meet its task requirements in the new situation.
