Based on the investigation results and documents collected, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Criminal Investigation Agency issued decisions to prosecute 4 people, namely:
1. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hanh, resident of Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province.
2. Ngo Van Lam, resident of Ngoc Hiep ward, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province.
3. Tran Vu Hai, Head of Tran Vu Hai Law Office.
4. Ngo Tuyet Phuong, Director of Hanoi Law Limited Company.
The above people are prosecuted for tax evasion, according to Article 161 of the 1999 Criminal Code, amended in 2009.
On July 2, 2019, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Khanh Hoa conducted a search at the residential places and workplaces of the suspects. The police have also applied measures to restrict Tran Vu Hai and Ngo Tuyet Phuong from leaving their residential places in Hanoi. Earlier, the Investigation Police Agency of Khanh Hoa had notified the decisions to prosecute Ngo Van Lam and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hanh, apply measures to suspend their exit from the country and ban them from leaving residence. The above decisions have been approved by the People's Procuracy of the same level in accordance with the laws.
The Investigation Police Agency of Khanh Hoa is expanding the investigation into the case to clarify other offences of the accused and related people to handle according to the provisions of law.
