The meeting was held online, connecting between delegates from the MPS headquarters and from provincial-level police departments across the country.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang stressed that before and during the Tet holiday, the Public Security Forces had effectively executed all directives from the Party Central Committee, the Government, the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders regarding ensuring security and order, and preventing and combating crime.
Accordingly, police units and agencies nationwide took synchronous professional measures, maintained on-duty forces and strengthened their combat readiness to ensure security and order in localities while deploying more forces to grassroots levels during the Tet holiday.
The Minister affirmed that, during the 9-day Tet holiday, the Public Security Forces had firmly safeguarded national security, ensured social order and safety and provided a secure, healthy and peaceful environment for people to celebrate the Tet Festival joyfully.
At the meeting, leaders of the police departments of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hue City reported on their work results during the Tet holiday and suggested key tasks for the upcoming period.

Concluding the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders, Minister Luong Tam Quang commended the entire Public Security Forces for their strong sense of responsibility, determination and outstanding achievements during the 2025 Lunar New Year.
The Minister requested that all public security officers and enlistees should quickly resume work in line with the work programs, plans and directives issued by the Ministry of Public Security, stressing that Spring celebrations should not affect the quality and efficiency of their task implementation.
Minister Luong Tam Quang also urged police units and agencies nationwide to mobilized maximum forces and means to ensure absolute security and safety for activities celebrating the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, activities of Party and State leaders, key targets and infrastructure projects as well as spring festivals across the country.

Additionally, the Minister requested that all Party organizations within the Public Security Forces should effectively organize their Party congresses in accordance with the regulations and guidelines.
Finally, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that the entire Public Security Forces continue to strongly attack and suppress all types of crime and law violations, particularly those that usually arise after the Tet holiday.
