At the ceremony, under the authority of the Prime Minister, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Truong Hai Long announced the decisions by the Prime Minister to appoint Director General of the Department of Internal Political Security Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, and Member of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Director General of the Police Department of Corruption, Smuggling and Economic Crime Investigation Major General Nguyen Ngoc Lam as new Deputy Ministers of Public Security.
