Particularly, the force received and solved 83,290 requests on professional issues from police units in the first half of 2019. In addition, the force continuously improved the quality of its scene examination while the rate of the found traces directly supporting the investigation was increased. In fact, the criminal forensic science force actively and effectively supported investigation police agencies at all levels in finding traces and evidence in criminal cases, especially difficult and complicated cases as the force’s professional capacity was improved step by step. Many provincial and municipal police units have expanded new areas of the criminal forensic science and have been largely based on the results of forensic examinations and tests in investigating criminal cases.
