Dien Bien police build homes for people affected by natural disasters

MPS - Recently, the Dien Bien Provincial Police Department was assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to build new homes for 20 households in Muong Pon commune of Dien Bien district, who had lost their homes in the recent natural disaster.

Joining the effort of the local authority to support local people in overcoming the aftermath of natural disasters, the Ministry of Public Security decided to provide funding for 20 families whose homes had totally collapsed during the natural disaster to build new houses.

Following the direction of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Dien Bien Provincial Police Department mobilized police officers and enlistees of the Fire and Rescue Police Division and the Mobile Police Division to join hands with the beneficiary families build their new houses.

The new homes will meet the standards set by the Ministry of Public Security of concrete foundations, strong walls and solid roofs, and the construction will be completed as scheduled.

Since the groundbreaking, all participating police officers have determined that building homes for disadvantaged local people is their important political task as it bears great humanity, helping the beneficiaries have a solid and cozy home to live, and stabilize their lives and production.

Thanks to the strong determination and great effort of the Dien Bien Provincial Police Department, new solid spacious houses for local families are sprouting up one after another.

The building of new homes for local families also makes contributions to local security and order and local socio-economic development.
