Hundreds of blood units donated by Bac Giang police officers

During 2 voluntary blood donation drives launched by the Bac Giang Provincial Police Department in 2024, the local police officers donated nearly 600 blood units for hospitals to treat patients in need.

During the 2nd voluntary blood donation drive, doctors from the 19-8 Hospital collected 220 units of safe, qualified blood in total after rapid blood tests.

All of the donated blood will be used for emergency and treatment of patients in need, or put in reserves for national security and defense purposes, disaster situations.

At the program, the Director of the Bac Giang Provincial Police Department presented Certificates of Merit to 47 individuals with outstanding achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement.
