MPS’s Immigration Department delegation visits Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

MPS - On the occasion of the Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20), a delegation of the Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), in collaboration with the Long An Provincial Police Department, on October 19 visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ba and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Khoi in Tan Tru and Ben Luc districts, Long An province.

The delegates inquired after the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and expressed the heartfelt gratitude for their contributions in the wars for national liberation. Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Chuc, Deputy Director of the Immigration Department hoped that the mothers would continue to be good examples for their children and grandchildren to follow.

The delegation visits and presents gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Khoi.

 

This activity aimed to conduct political education for officers and soldiers in general and female public security officers in particular. The senior officer affirmed that the Vietnamese Women's Day is a good opportunity to honor the excellent achievements of the female officers but also to conduct in-depth humane activities toward disadvantaged women.

On this day, the MPS’s Immigration Department and the Long An Provincial Police Department offered incense at the Vam Nhut Tao Relic Site and the Temple of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc.
