Quang Ninh police return lost belongings to foreign tourist

Earlier, at around 6:30 a.m. on January 2nd, Ms. Martynova Elena approached the Security and Order Protection Rapid Response Team at the Tuan Chau International Tourist Area to report that she had lost her passport, belongings, cellphone, and money while waiting with her friend for a boat to tour Ha Long Bay at Tuan Chau International Port.

Receiving the foreign tourist’s report, the Tuan Chau Security and Order Protection Rapid Response Team immediately contacted the External Security Division of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department for support.

Police return lost belongings to Ms. Martynova Elena.

The Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department deployed a working group to the Tuan Chau International Tourist Area to review the camera footage of the incident and take various measures in an effort to find the lost assets for the tourist.

At around 9:00 a.m. on the same day, the police working group successfully located the belongings of Ms. Martynova Elena.

The police documented the incident and then returned all the belongings to Ms. Martynova Elena.
