Youths of Quang Ngai police offer gifts to poor students

MPS - In order to promote the movement "Everyday a good deed for the people" of Ly Son district police officers and soldiers, the Youth Union and Women's Union chapters under the Ly Son District Police Station, in cooperation with their counterparts in Tay Tra district, Quang Ngai province on October 21 organized a charitable program to offer gifts to poor students at Tra Phong Primary School’s branch in Hrieng village, Tra Phong commune, Tay Tra district, Quang Ngai province.

Accordingly, the Ly Son District Police offered 40 packages of gifts, worth VND 16 million in total, and usable old clothes while Tay Tra District Police gave 19 packages of gifts, worth over VND 8 million in total, and some necessities to poor students at Hrieng schoolhouse.

Additionally, the Ly Son District Police offered VND 3 million in cash and household tools to Ho Dinh Dam, an unsupported orphan in Tra Lanh commune.

The meaningful charitable program hopefully encouraged and helped poor students overcome their difficulties to study better, contributing to promoting a beautiful image of police officers in the community.
