Youths of Son La Traffic Police support poor students

MPS - The Youths of Son La Traffic Police Office coordinated with relevant units to visit and encourage students in Muong Khoa commune, Bac Yen district, Son La province.

The charitable mission hands gratitude houses to needy families.

The charitable team of Son La Traffic Police donated some 230 gifts to 213 students of Muong Khoa Primary School, with a large majority of the Mong and Thai ethnic groups. The program aimed to support the children in preparation for the new academic year.

The gifts included school bags, notebooks, warm coats and other learning equipment. The charitable mission also offered 10 scholarships, each worth VND 500,000, to poor students. Additionally, the donors also presented VND 75 million to 3 needy local households to build their homes, and 15 gifts to 15 poor families in Muong Khoa.

The charitable mission also took the chance to organize meetings to disseminate traffic laws to some 450 students and parents of the Primary School.

With the gifts, the charitable mission hoped that their support could help the people in Muong Khoa overcome their difficulties and stabilize their lives as well as encourage poor students in the commune to study harder and strive to be good citizens in the future.
