20th Cao Bang Provincial Party Congress for 2025–2030 tenure officially opens

On behalf of the Party and State leadership, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang attended and delivered remarks at the Congress.

In his opening speech, Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Cao Bang National Assembly Delegation Quan Minh Cuong emphasized that the 20th Provincial Party Congress is a particularly significant political event for the Party Committee, authorities and people of Cao Bang. 

He noted that the success of the Congress holds great importance for the province’s development in the coming years, as well as makes a contribution to the success of the 14th National Party Congress.

Addressing the Congress, Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulated and commended the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, authorities and people for their achievements during the previous tenure. 

Showing his consensus on the goals, targets, strategic orientations and key tasks outlined in the political report, he requested delegates to focus on clarifying, supplementing and finalizing an action program for effective implementation of the Resolution in the coming time.

The Minister urged the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee to foster unity, consensus and high resolve among the local Party, authorities and people so as to take  breakthrough measures to implement  the Party Congress’s  with the aim of  turning Cao Bang into a rapidly and sustainably developing province and improving the happiness index of its people.

Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his belief that, with its revolutionary tradition, aspiration for innovation and firm unity, Cao Bang will successfully implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, becoming one of the leading provinces in terms of people’s happiness and making worthy contributions to the cause of building and safeguarding the Fatherland.

At the Congress, delegates elected 55 outstanding Party members to the 20th Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 tenure.
