The content of the letter has been translated into English as follows:
Over the past time, the Nghe An Provincial Police Department deployed synchronous professional measures to investigate and dismantle a criminal group that exploited cyberspace to illegally trade in and manufacture military weapons on a large scale across 12 provinces and cities nationwide.
After a long-time investigation, police arrested 42 suspects and seized 88 firearms of various types, nearly 30,000 rounds of ammunition, and numerous other exhibits related to the case.
This outstanding achievement has clearly demonstrated the Nghe An Police Force’s strong determination, high sense of responsibility and sharp professional expertise while implementing the directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security on drastically attacking and suppressing all types of crime to ensure security and order for the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026.
The case also stands as a vivid example of the effective application of the principles of “active prevention” and “proactive attack” to cut off the root causes of criminal activities at an early stage.
The elimination of the ring is of great significance, contributing to the maintenance of security and order, safeguarding the peaceful and happy lives of the people, deterring crime and strengthening public trust in the Public Security Forces.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership, Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long commended the Nghe An Police Force for the outstanding achievement.
The Deputy Minister requested the Nghe An Provincial Police Department to promptly expand the investigation, consolidate collected documents and evidence, and complete legal procedures to prosecute all suspects in accordance with the law.
He also wished that the Nghe An Police Force would achieve further success in performing its tasks in the coming time.
