Lao Cai police help find missing foreign tourist

Due to his old age and without a mobile phone, the tourist was unable to contact his tour group.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Sa Pa Ward Police Station coordinated with the Fire and Rescue Police Division under the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department to conduct extensive searches across the locality.

At the same time, information about the missing person was posted on social networks to mobilize public support.

Thanks to their efforts, by 5:45 p.m. on the same day, police officers found the tourist at Ham Rong 1 Cluster in Sa Pa Ward and safely brought him back to the police station. The police then contacted his relatives to get him.

Reportedly, the tourist is in good physical and mental condition.

The local police’s good deed contributed to spreading a positive image of the Public Security Forces among international friends visiting Sa Pa.
