Minister Luong Tam Quang meets voters in Hung Yen province

Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, together with deputies of the Hung Yen Province National Assembly Delegation, met with local voters to inform them of the first session of the 16th National Assembly (NA), on the afternoon of April 28 in Hung Yen province.

At the meeting, representatives of the delegation briefed voters on the outcomes of the first session, noting that the NA successfully completed its full agenda and decided on a range of foundational contents for the new term, demonstrating strong determination to remove bottlenecks, mobilize resources and create momentum for national development.

On the one hand, local voters expressed delight at the first NA session’s results; they raised opinions and recommendations on various issues of public concern, on the other hand.

After listening to voters’ questions, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Le Huy clarified and explained the issues under the authority of the provincial administration.

Addressing the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang updated local voters on the results of the Public Security Forces implementation of the Party’s guidelines and State laws since the beginning of the year, as well as gave further insights into the outcomes of the National Assembly session.

He noted that, in the first quarter of 2026, the Public Security Forces nationwide made special efforts to combat law violations related to the storage, trading and transportation of food products of unknown origin, the use of banned substances in food production, illegal polluted waste discharge, and falsification of environmental monitoring data.

Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that the Hung Yen Provincial National Assembly Delegation will continue to uphold a high sense of responsibility in implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and ensuring the effective enforcement of laws and resolutions adopted by the National Assembly, in the coming time.

He also called on voters to strengthen the citizen’s function of supervision and assessment of the activities of National Assembly deputies and State agencies, thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of governance, refining institutions and policies and promoting national development.
