MPS reviews education and training work

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To chaired a meeting to review the education and training work of the Public Security Forces in 2025 and set forth orientations for 2026, on the afternoon of January 7, in Hanoi.

In 2025, public security academies and schools completed their tasks, training and building capacity of their public security learners.

A number of schools and officers demonstrated an intense sense of responsibility at work, renovated their educational thinking, training methods and training approaches, contributing to improved quality and effectiveness of education, training, and professional development for public security officers.

At the meeting, delegates evaluated the results of education and training in the Public Security Forces last year, discussed advantages and difficulties faced by public security education and training institutions, and proposed approaches to solve shortcomings and further improve the quality of education and training in the Public Security Forces in the coming period.

To continue renovating and improving the quality and effectiveness of education and training, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested that public security units and agencies as well as public security educational institutions thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the documents issued by the 81st National Public Security Conference, while closely following Resolution No. 71 of the 13th Party Central Committee, the Resolution of the forthcoming 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Organization and the Minister of Public Security’s Directive on education and training and the building of Public Security Forces for 2026.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To emphasized that the Department of Education and Training should further promote its role as the leading unit in advising the higher-level authorities on and effectively exercising state management of education and training in the Public Security Forces, while seeking to address strategic issues and assist academies, schools and localities in overcoming their difficulties.

Further, the Deputy Minister suggested that public security academies and schools continue renovating their training objectives, their curricula, training programs, training methods and school governance, with a view to developing a scientific, modern, synchronized and interconnected model aligned with the country’s international integration and best suiting the real operations of public security units and agencies.

He also urged them to invest in teaching and learning facilities and equipment for, and actively apply scientific and technological achievements to research, teaching, and learning.
