Hanoi City Police Department hosts Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau
MPS - Director of the Hanoi City Police Department Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung, headed a Hanoi police delegation, had talks with a visiting delegation from the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, led by its Deputy Director Li Feng, on December 9th, in Hanoi.
At the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung stated that the Hanoi City Police Department and the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau had continuously promoted cooperation in many fields of mutual concern.
The host highly appreciated the positive results of cooperation in security and order between the two police agencies over the past time, and believed that the cooperative relationship between the two sides would further develop in the coming time.

For his part, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau Li Feng sincerely thanked Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung and the Ha Noi City Police Department for the warm welcome of the Chinese delegation.
The guest underlined that Vietnam and China are two neighboring countries with a traditional socialist friendship, which has been constantly maintained and cultivated for mutual development of the two countries during the cause of protecting the socialist regime.
The Chinese head delegate affirmed that the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau would continue to support the Hanoi City Police Department in training and building capacity of police officers as well as provide the Vietnamese partner with modern equipment and facilities in support of the police work in the coming time.
During the talks, delegates openly discussed and exchanged information and experience in preventing and combating all types of crime, contributing to maintaining a stable and peaceful environment in the capital city of each country.

The two sides agreed to enhance exchange of high-level and expert-level delegations to share hands-on experience in all fields of police work.
The two head delegates also reached consensus on effectively implementing signed cooperation documents between the two Ministries of Public Security, the two cities and the two police agencies, especially those regarding mutual assistance in criminal matters as well as cooperation in preventing and combating transnational crime.
They also underlined the need to support each other in preventing and combating new types of crime and high-tech crime.
The leaders of the two police agencies pledged to coordinate and support each other in managing entry and exit of the two countries’ citizens as well as in protecting safety and ensuring legitimate rights and interests of citizens of one country living or working in the other country.
