At the ceremony, Minister Luong Tam Quang, authorised by the State President, handed over the decisions to the three to-be-deployed police officers, namely Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Trong Hoa, Captain Nguyen The Anh and Captain Tran Thi Thu Trang.
Addressing the ceremony, Minister Luong Tam Quang underlined that the deployment of the three police offices to the UNMISS demonstrates the attention and trust of the Party and State leaders in the People’s Public Security Forces, as well as reflected the remarkable development of the People's Public Security Forces and every public security officer who not only protect the national security but also participate in keeping international peace, security and stability.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang highly appreciated and commended the MPS Standing Office for UN Peacekeeping Operations as well as relevant agencies for their good work results, and congratulated the three police officers on their new assignments.

The Minister asked the three police officers to strictly abide by the regulations of the UN peacekeeping mission and the laws of the host country as well as the rules of the Ministry of Public Security regulating officers when performing duties overseas.
Minister Luong Tam Quang also requested the three police officers to closely coordinate with Vietnamese military officers at UNMISS, strengthen friendship with international colleagues, and resolve to successfully fulfil all tasks assigned by the UN as well as the Party, State and the Ministry of Public Security.
