Minister Luong Tam Quang pays tribute to heroic public security martyrs
MPS - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025), a delegation of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, led by Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, offered flowers and incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs at the People’s Public Security Historical Relic Site, formerly the Headquarters of the Central Public Security Directorate, in Minh Thanh commune, Tuyen Quang province, on July 20, 2025.
The event was among a series of commemorative activities marking the 80th founding anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the “All People Protecting National Security” movement (August 19, 2005 – 2025).
Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh also joined the ceremony.
At the relic site, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs of the People’s Public Security Forces.

In a solemn ceremony, the Minister and other delegates expressed deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the great founder and mentor of the heroic People’s Public Security Forces, and the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national independence, freedom and the peace and happiness of the people.
Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that the People’s Public Security Forces be absolutely loyal to the Party, the State and the people, and continuously foster their political stance, revolutionary ethics, combat capacity and working ability, as well as overcome all hardships, promote innovation and create positive changes in all areas of work.
The Minister further underscored the commitment of the forces to studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics and style as well as his Six Teachings to the People’s Public Security Forces so as to accomplish their noble missions of safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety.
He also stressed the need to continue meaningful gratitude programs and social activities for those who had rendered great service to the nation, thereby upholding the heroic tradition of the People's Public Security Forces and being worthy of the noble sacrifices made by heroic martyrs.
