Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung attended and delivered remarks at the ceremony.
Implementing the policy of the Party Central Committee and the Government, as well as its overarching program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses across the country, since the beginning of 2025, MPS has mobilized resources to support the construction of over 4,800 houses for revolutionary contributors, disaster-affected families, poor and near-poor households, and ethnic families facing housing difficulties.

In Quang Tri province, MPS provided financial support for the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department in coordination with local authorities and relevant agencies to build 1,143 homes for disadvantaged local people. The construction of the homes has been completed just after over four months.
The houses were designed and built according to local geographical and climatic conditions as well as the cultural practices of ethnic minority groups in the area.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung praised the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province as well as Quang Tri police officers and units for their active and effective involvement in the housing construction project.
He emphasized that the housing project not only improves living conditions for disadvantaged households, but also demonstrates the Public Security Forces’ unwavering commitment to serving the people.

The Deputy Minister encouraged the beneficiary families to early stabilize their lives and actively participate in the “All People Protecting National Security” movement, contributing to maintaining security and promoting socio-economic development in their localities.
On this occasion, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung and provincial leaders also presented gifts from MPS to 20 disadvantaged households across the 12 southern communes.
