The event saw the presence of various senior officials, including Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, Chief of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People’s Army General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen.

The Ministry of Public Security held the program in celebration of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025), the 80th founding anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the “All People Protecting National Security” movement (August 19, 2005 – 2025).
It aimed to honor the immense contributions and sacrifices of revolutionary veterans and war veterans, especially fallen and wounded soldiers, in the past struggles for national independence and the defense of the Fatherland.
Specially, the gala night highlighted the dedication and heroic service of generations of public security officers in the resistance wars and in the ongoing fight against crime to safeguard national security and ensure social order and safety.

Speaking at the program, Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that the Party, the State and the people of Vietnam, including the Public Security Forces, always remember the huge sacrifices of war veterans, wounded soldiers, heroic martyrs and revolutionary contributors who bravely fought, and laid down their lives or shed their blood for national independence, the people’s peace and happiness as well as for noble international service.
At the program, delegates also presented gifts to 30 families of public security martyrs, wounded police officers, as well as retired officers of the former Central Public Security Directorate, who are facing difficult circumstances.

The program featured special artistic performances by artists from public security art troupes and other music groups, delivered in three thematic chapters, namely “The Revolutionary Path,” “Faith in Victory,” and “Honoring the Oath.”
