The ongoing meeting, which is the largest multilateral summit on green growth hosted by the country in the 2021–2026 period, has drawn the participation of about 1,000 international delegates, including high-ranking officials from countries, representatives of international organizations, world-leading scientists and experts.
As the P4G Summit is of special political significance for the country, the Ministry of Public Security has determined the mission of ensuring absolute security and safety for the meeting and delegates as one of its core tasks in the first half of 2025, and implemented a comprehensive plan to ensure order and security in preparation for the event since the end of 2024.
The Public Security Forces’ effort to ensure security and safety for the meeting and its delegates also contributes to raising Vietnam’s position and prestige in the international arena.

According to Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, the Public Security Forces have activated the highest level of their security protection regimes and implemented the security plan in a comprehensive manner.
Specifically, involved public security units and agencies have actively deployed dozens of detailed sub-plans in response to possible scenarios, including preventing sabotage plots and acts, ensuring security for activities within the summit framework and arranging security forces to safeguard Party and State leaders as well as international delegates around the clock.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Security is also coordinating closely with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of National Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take synchronous effective measures to ensure cybersecurity, fire safety, traffic safety and medical services during the meeting.
The Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security affirmed that the Public Security Forces are trying their best to ensure the absolute security and safety of the P4G Summit, contributing enhancing Vietnam’s international reputation and attracting resources for national development.
