Department of Construction and Barrack Management presents gifts to disadvantaged children in Son La

During the social program, the delegation provided financial assistance, two military-style rice cookers and school supplies to 32 underprivileged children under the patron of the Son La Provincial Police Department.

The program was more meaningful in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Public Security Forces, the 20th anniversary of the “All People Protecting National Security” Festival and the 72nd founding anniversary of the Construction and Barrack Management Force.

The program also aimed to spread humanitarian values in the community, as well as to support education of children, particularly those in special circumstances, those in remote, mountainous and border areas, and those of ethnic minorities.

Such a program contributes to beautifying the image of the Public Security Forces in the eyes of the people.

The delegation also took the chance to offered incense to Uncle Ho at the President Ho Chi Minh’s Temple in the Tay Bac Square and fallen revolutionary prisoners at the Son La Prison Memorial.
