Ha Giang police return lost property to foreign tourist

MPS - Recently, the Police Station of Viet Quang Town, Bac Quang District, Ha Giang Province successfully returned valuable lost belongings to a foreign tourist.

Earlier, on the morning of April 14, 2025, while traveling along National Highway 2 from Ha Giang City to Bac Quang District, Mr. Di Nallo Etienne (a French national, born in 2001) accidentally dropped a yellow bag containing his passport and a drone.

Upon receiving the report from Mr. Etienne, officers of the Viet Quang Town Police Station promptly issued a public notice across social media platforms in an effort to locate and recover the lost items as quickly as possible, thereby supporting the tourist to continue his journey.

Thanks to the efforts of the local police to share the case on the local social media platforms, two days later, Mr. Vu Duc Toan (residing in Dong Da District, Hanoi), who had found the lost bag, contacted the Viet Quang Town Police Station to return the lost property to Mr. Etienne.

Upon receiving his belongings, Mr. Etienne expressed his joy and heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Toan and the officers of the Viet Quang Town Police Station for their timely assistance.

This kind gesture left a positive impression on the French national, and contribute to promoting the image of a hospitable and friendly Vietnam in the eyes of international friends.
