The DNA collection program, which is considered a crucial preparatory step in the long journey to locate and identify the remains of fallen soldiers, opens opportunities for families of fallen soldiers to reunite with the remains of their loved ones.
In the coming period, local police units will continue working with relevant authorities to collect DNA of martyrs' relatives as well as enrich the national gene bank of unidentified martyrs, contributing to identifying remains of fallen soldiers and returning them to their families.
