During the recent prolonged rains and floods, landslides buried and totally destroyed the house of Mr. Tran Van Them in Van La 2 village, Lam Vy commune. The whole family had had to live in a temporary shelter and faced many difficulties in daily life.

Following the directions of the Minister of Public Security on timely supporting affected families to stabilize their lives after the natural disasters, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Department mobilized human and material resources to build a new house for Mr. Tran Van Them’s family.
Thanks to their strong determination not to let people be homeless as well as the great effort of local police forces and authorities, a new house has been completed after more than one week of construction, ahead of the schedule.

The newly-built house has an area of 36m2 with three compartment, and can better sustain natural disasters.
In addition, the MPS's Office and the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police Department also presented disaster-hit local families with necessities to help them soon stabilize their lives.

The building of houses for families affected by natural disasters, which has demonstrated the compassion and empathy of the Public Security Forces towards the victims, aimed to help them overcome difficulties, and contribute to raising their trust in the leadership of the Party, the State, tightening the ties between the Public Security Forces and people, and maintaining security and order from the grassroots.
