The event saw the presence of Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Lu Van Hung, Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People’s Committee Pham Van Thieu, and Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Van Ut.

Joining the national movement “Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses” in Bac Lieu province, MPS has decided to assist the province in building 700 houses for local poor and near-poor households.

At the ceremony, MPS and its companions handed over the financial support to the Bac Lieu Provincial Steering Committee for the Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses.
In addition, MPS, together with the Party Committee, the People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Lieu province, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the model house and a roofing ceremony for dilapidated homes, as well as presented gifts to 40 local poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Nguyen extended his congratulations to the beneficiary families, hoping that the families with their new homes will focus on their production so as to have a better life and contribute more to local socio-economic development and order and security.
