Tien Giang Provincial Police Department visits local Buddhist Sangha on Buddha’s Birthday Celebration

MPS - On the occasion of Buddha’s Birthday (Vesak) 2569 according to the Buddhist calendar, Deputy Director of the Tien Giang Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Phan Van Trang visited Vinh Trang Pagoda in My Phong commune, My Tho city and extended regards to the Executive Board of the Tien Giang Provincial Buddhist Sangha, on May 5, 2025.

The Deputy Director best regards to the Most Venerable members of the Executive Board of the Tien Giang Provincial Buddhist Sangha and all monks, nuns and Buddhist followers in the locality, and wished them a peaceful and auspicious Vesak Week.

He also expressed high appreciation for the contributions of the Buddhist Sangha as well as all of its dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers to strengthening the great national unity bloc, promoting patriotic emulation movements and maintaining public security and order in the locality.

Speaking at the event, Most Venerable Thich Quang Loc, Member of the Executive Council and Head of the Executive Board of the Tien Giang Provincial Buddhist Sangha, sincerely expressed his gratitude for the concern, care and support of the local police force for the Buddhist community in the province.

He affirmed that the Sangha would continue to encourage all local monks, nuns and followers to follow the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws, and to contribute actively to building a prosperous and civilized Tien Giang province.
