A delegation of the Department of Policy under the Ministry of Public Security visited the Ha Tinh Provincial Police on September 3, with the aim of handing the support of the Ministry of Public Security to local officers and soldiers affected by typhoon No.10.
In September, the most powerful typhoon in the last 10 years has directly landed in Ha Tinh, destroying tens of thousands of houses.
To ease difficulties of families of local officers and soldiers affected by typhoon No.10, a delegation of the Department of Policy offered VND 500 million of support to them.
Senior Colonel Pham Quang Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Policy emphasized that the support has demonstrated the whole Public Security Forces’ care for needy officers and soldiers affected by typhoon No.10 in Ha Tinh, in the hope that it would ease their difficulties and help their families stabilize their daily life.
Senior Colonel Le Van Sao, Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police thanked the delegation and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security for the meaningful and encouraging support.
He also noted that the Ha Tinh Provincial Police actively deployed its force and assets, and implemented plans during the typhoon to help people in hard-hit communes.
