MPS - At 6:30 p.m. on November 20th, the Quang Dien District Police Station of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department deployed forces to rescue a family of 3 people at risk of drowning in a deeply waterlogged field in Phe Ba village, Quang Vinh commune, Quang Dien district.

Earlier, on the morning of November 20th, Mr. Van Dinh Thao (born in 1970, residing in Phu Hau ward, Hue city), with his wife Nguyen Thi Hien (born in 1979) and son Van Dinh Dong Quan (born in 2018), went to their hometown in Phe Ba village, Quang Vinh commune to attend an event of his family line.

Due to darkness and unfamiliarity with the road, the family had an accident and all three people fell into a deeply waterlogged rice field in Phe Ba village.

Hearing the cry for help, Captain Nguyen Ngoc Thang and Captain Nguyen Xuan Dung from the Quang Dien District Police Station immediately rushed to the scene, and reported the accident to the District Police leaders to deploy a rescue team to search for the victims.
