Counter-narcotics forces meet press agencies on the occasion of Counter-Narcotics Action Month
MPS - The Counter-Narcotics Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security held a conference on the afternoon of June 22, in Hanoi, to provide information to the press and media in the Counter-Narcotics Action Month 2023 with the theme "Improving responsibility, proactively coordinating to effectively counter narcotics - For a drug-free community".

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Major General Nguyen Van Vien affirmed that, over the past time, the counter-narcotics police force has renovated its thinking and working methods, launched specific plans and take synchronous professional measures to effectively dismantle many large drug lines.
Major General Nguyen Van Vien hoped that the counter-narrcotics police force will further receive support of journalists in raising the public awareness of the harms of drug abuse, contributing to preventing and fighting drug-related crime and drug addition as well as to safeguarding the peaceful life of the people.
