MPS Inspectorate reviews operations in first half of 2018

As authorized by the State President, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh presents the Military Exploit Order of third class to Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Luu, Head of the MPS Inspectorate.

In the first 6 months of 2018, the MPS Inspectorate had conducted 92 scheduled and unexpected inspections over 511 individuals and organizations within the forces, and detected various shortcomings in units’ management in time to help the units’ leadership overcome the shortcomings and promote efficiency of their operations. 

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh asked all responsible organs and officers of the MPS Inspectorate to actively review their work and well organize forces to conduct inspections under the set plans and requirements.

The Deputy Minister also asked the MPS Inspectorate to be active in advising the MPS leadership to daft legal documents on inspection and reception of citizens, settlement of complaints and denunciations, prevention and fight against corruption so as to ensure all inspection activities within the public security forces to be conducted in accordance with the laws. The MPS Inspectorate was also required to focus on monitoring, checking units’ correction of their shortcomings in the post-inspection time, and proactively propose competent authorities to penalize the units and individuals who try to obstruct or fail to implement inspection conclusions to ensure that all inspection conclusions must be executed seriously by relevant individuals and units.
