At the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General To Lam emphasized that the glorious history of the PSF over the past 73 years has always associated with the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. During the time, the PSF has been led and trained by the Party and late President Ho Chi Minh and has received great support from the people. The PSF has grown up constantly, and successfully implemented the tasks of protecting the people, the Party, the Government, and effectively served the cause of national construction and development.
Additionally, the movement “All people protecting national security” has been promoted in both depth and width. Since 2016, the police forces have built 2,000 "All people protecting national security" models nationwide, including hundreds of effective models, providing the police forces with millions of pieces of valuable information in support of the police to crack down on thousands of cases and hundreds criminal gangs.

Minister To Lam urged the whole PSF to continue and promote their glorious traditions and experience in order to successfully fulfil all assigned tasks and requirements of the National Protection Strategy in the current context. He also asked the PSF to actively give the Party and the State good advice on socio-economic development and diplomatic policies as well as on ensuring national security and defense, social order and safety.
The Minister asked the whole police forces to take the initiative in grasping local situations, detect, prevent and defeat all conspiracies and activities of hostile forces, control crimes, effectively resolve complex issues from the grassroots level, so as to deserve the trust of the Party, the State and the people.
