After the MPS’s organizational apparatus was streamlined, the Department of Logistics was assigned more tasks and additional functions. Despite many difficulties in settling its newly-streamlined structure, the Party Committee of the department directed the public security logistics force to effectively perform its assigned tasks.

At the meeting, delegates pointed out both achievements and shortcomings of the force in performing its tasks in the past time and discussed solutions to overcome the issues in the time to come.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son congratulated and praised the achievements of the department's Party organization over the past years, saying that the force’s efforts and achievements have greatly contributed to the success of the Public Security Forces in implementing the 6th Public Security Central Party Congress’ Resolution.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son requested the Executive Committee of the next term and chains of command of the Department of Logistics to pay due attention to strengthening Party building, improving the quality of the Party organization, and renovate the contents and forms of Party work.

They should proactively advise the MPS’s leaders on issues related to logistic services as well as the management over the MPS’s facilities and assets while effectively implementing logistics projects for public security agencies and units in accordance with the laws, especially the project to renovate and rearrange guest houses and hotels run by the People's Public Security Forces from now to 2030.
