Vietnam General Confederation of Labor provides support for MPS in acknowledgement of contribution of public security officers to the fight against COVID-19
MPS - Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS), Head of the Steering Committee for Prevention and Combat of COVID-19 under the Ministry of Public Security, on March 25 received a delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), who visited and offered financial support to the MPS in the fight against COVID-19.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of Party Central Committee, President of the VGCL thanked public security officers working at places with high risk of COVID-19 infection, saying that the support from the VGCL would encourage them to continue participating in preventing and combating COVID-19 and ensuring public order and security.
On behalf of the MPS, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son sincerely thanked the VGCL, affirming that the gift was a great encouragement for the People's Public Security Forces, especially for those who are round-the-clock fighting with the COVID-19 epidemic.
