At about 2:00 p.m. on July 14, Ms. Dao Thi Ban (born in 1986, residing in Thanh Cong hamlet, Ha Quang commune, Cao Bang province) arrived at the Ha Quang Communal Police Station to hand over a brown backpack she had found on a road in Lung Pheo hamlet.
Upon checking the backpack, the police found out over 8 million VND in cash, one smartphone, two e-readers and several other valuable items in it.
As she had not found the backpack’s owner, Ms. Ban proactively asked the Ha Quang Communal Police Station to return the lost belongings to the rightful owner.

Immediately after receiving the items, the Ha Quang Communal Police Station coordinated with professional units under the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department to search for the owner.
By 8:30 p.m., the same day, authorities identified the owner as Ms. Antonioli Mohana Gena, a foreign tourist.
They promptly contacted Ms. Gena and returned her property to her.
Upon receiving her belongings, Ms. Gena expressed her sincere gratitude to Ms. Ban, the Ha Quang Communal Police Station and the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department for their timely and effective assistance.
